1. Car Prices
The prices of the activities include VAT.
The system will display the prices according to the selected price. Our team will always check and if there are any items to be added, the final price may change and will be communicated by email and will await the customer's consent.
2. Reservations and Payment
You can reserve the car by requesting a reservation directly on the website, by email or WhatsApp.
You should consider your request as a pre-reservation, since our team will check availability and request additional information if it is not clear in the reservation.
Each day of vehicle reservation means 24 hours. The delivery and return location may be changed, but you should check the prices for the different delivery points.
Once the reservation is confirmed, in order to provide a guarantee, a payment of at least 25% of the total amount will be required in the reservation process, as a means of guarantee, to be paid by bank transfer.
When completing the reservation process, you will receive a reservation receipt, with a reservation reference number. These reference numbers must be retained by you. The remaining 75% must be paid up to 48 hours before check-in.
Although SAOFERIAS will make every possible effort to accommodate your requests, all reservations are subject to availability.
We apologize in advance if your particular requests cannot be met.
3. Contracts and Excess
Upon delivery of the vehicle, a contract will be presented, which specifies the insurance coverage and establishes the excess amount for the vehicle in question, which varies between €150 - €250.
The excess is only charged in the event of an accident or incident and negligence.
Driving the vehicle by a person not listed at the time of the contract is a gross breach of the contract and will result in immediate suspension of the same, without the right to a refund.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation of a reservation must be made by sending an email or by telephone. If you cancel a service, the payment made to our company may be refunded in accordance with the contracted service policy.
Cancellations can be made on this website at any time within 24 hours of the arrival date.
Returns will be charged to the customer for shipping costs.
5. Modify your reservation

The amount of the reservation deposit for the canceled reservation will be added to the new reservation.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS FOR RENTAL IN PRINCIPE ISLAND
On the island of Principe, our partners have few vehicles. Due to the poor condition of the access roads to the beaches and the most popular tourist spots, the cars have suffered considerable deterioration, which is made worse by the quality of the repair shops. Therefore, our company informs our customers that any rental agreement on the island of Principe will be governed by the following clauses.
- By proceeding with the reservation, you automatically accept the conditions imposed in the following points.
- In the event of a breakdown and our team being unavailable to obtain a replacement vehicle in the same category, our team will offer the customer the following options:

- Rental of a vehicle in a higher category and payment of the difference;
- Or Refund of the amount paid for the reservation, corresponding to the days without the vehicle.
We ask for our customers for understanding, given that Principe is a very small island. Suppliers have 1 or 2 vehicles at most and most of the suppliers have closed their doors.
